Around one in five people in England have a disability or long-term health condition. Disabled people are almost twice as likely to be physically inactive as non-disabled people (43% compared with 23%), highlighting the significant barriers many still face in accessing opportunities to be active.
The Activity for All network aims to break down some of these barriers by working together, sharing good practice and tackling systemic issues to make physical activity opportunities more inclusive.
